100 MWp Grid-Connected Agrovoltaic Solar  Power Plant

IEC proposes a 100 MWp Agrovoltaic solar  project under the Net Metering Policy, combining crop cultivation with solar  generation to strengthen both food and energy security. Backed by over 2 GW  of pipeline projects and institutional support, the market is investor-ready for  rapid growth between 2025 and 2030.

▪ Bangladesh is at a critical energy  transition stage with 1,667 MW  renewable capacity (mostly solar) as of  Sept 2025.

▪ Strong policies, land allocations, and  rooftop mandates make it a top  emerging solar market in South Asia. ▪ First-mover opportunity for investors,  EPCs, and technology providers with  low per-capita solar penetration.

▪ IEC  offers a 100 MWp agrovoltaic solar  project under the Net Metering Policy.

▪ Agrivoltaics supports simultaneous  crop cultivation and solar generation,  boosting food and energy security.

▪ Investor-ready market: Proven projects, 2+ GW pipeline, and institutional support enable rapid expansion (2025–2030).

▪ Recommendation: Enter via JV/EPC, start 50 MW pilot, scale to 200–500 MW in 3 years.

Carbon Credit Development, Certification & Monetization

(Solar Energy & Nature-Based Projects in Bangladesh)

IEC seeks to establish a carbon credit (CC) business focused on the development, certification, and sale of verified carbon credits generated from solar energy and afforestation projects in Bangladesh.

IEC is seeking a qualified EU or USA–based facilitation partner (company or individual) to support and manage the technical, regulatory, certification, and market access processes required to monetize carbon credits in EU and US voluntary carbon markets.

EcoPower Transformation Initiative

Bangladesh is at a critical stage in its energy transition, with 1,667 MW of renewables (mostly solar) as of September 2025. Strong policies, land allocations, and rooftop mandates make it one of South Asia’s most promising solar markets, yet per-capita penetration remains low—creating a clear first-mover opportunity.

Key Highlights:

• Capacity: 100 MWp, ~152 GWh annual generation

• Carbon Savings: ~120,000 tons CO₂ offset/year

• Output: 152 GWh/year, offsetting ~100,000 tons CO₂

• Revenue: ~USD 19M/year (solar) + ~USD 1M/year (agriculture)

• Investment: USD 77M CAPEX (solar $60M, land $16M, agro $1M)

• Returns: ~18% IRR, ~4-year payback

• Benefits: Dual revenue streams, land security, strong ESG impact, job creation

• Jobs: ~500 during construction, 100+ permanent/contractual

• Opportunity: First-mover advantage in Bangladesh’s rapidly expanding renewable market.

The plant strengthens Bangladesh’s renewable roadmap, reduces fossil fuel imports, and delivers sustainable, profitable clean energy for decades.

Imperial Energy Consortium (IEC) proposes a 100 MWp Agrovoltaic solar project under the Net Metering Policy, combining crop cultivation with solar generation to strengthen both food and energy security. Strategic Sustainability Roadmap

Imperial Energy Consortium (IEC) will operate as a full-cycle carbon credit project developer, covering activities from project identification and feasibility through certification, issuance, and monetization of carbon credits. The business focuses on developing high-quality, verifiable credits aligned with internationally recognized standards and selling them in EU and US voluntary carbon markets.

IEC will prioritize two core project categories: renewable energy projects, particularly utility-scale and distributed solar installations that replace fossil fuel generation; and nature-based solutions, including afforestation, reforestation, and community-driven forestry and agroforestry initiatives.

Under the proposed partnership model, IEC will lead local project ownership and execution, including land access, permitting, implementation, operation, monitoring, and compliance with host-country requirements. The facilitation partner, based in the EU or USA, will manage carbon methodology selection, project documentation, validation and verification processes, registry management, and access to international carbon markets.

Carbon credit ownership will remain with IEC. Commercial arrangements may include revenue sharing, success-based facilitation fees, or a hybrid structure. Execution risks will be borne by IEC, while certification, compliance, and market access risks will be managed by the facilitation partner.

The monetization process follows a clear sequence: project identification, methodology selection and registration, implementation, monitoring, validation and verification, credit issuance, sale to EU and US buyers, and final revenue settlement.
